Natural Stone Tile Installation Tips

1. Rinse the stone tiles with water to remove any dust or dirt residue.

2. Always lay down stone tiles before applying adhesive or thinset to tiles. This will insuse correct coverage. Cut the tile mesh with scissors to create appropriate sizes.

3. After laying the stone tiles on your grout adhesive, seal the stone tiles before grouting. Many stones are porous in nature and will tend to absorb some of the grout. The sealer will make grouting and cleanup easier.

4. After using a sponge to set the grout, clean each individual stone with a damp cloth.

5. Let the grout dry for at least 24 to 48 hours. Then another 1 - 2 layers of sealer can be applied.
